The name of a specific earthwork, such as Serpent Mound, is expressed in the third line and not in the second line site definition. Significant and named earthwork structures, currently in the collection, are listed under the site name below, and third line definitions for these structures may be found listed in the Northeast Structure Index. The second line number of Northeast historic architecture defines tribe and specific site name. For subheadings, use cutter # of heading unless indicated otherwise.
