The first line number of Great Basin arts classification defines time period. The second line number defines culture name. (For subheading, use Cutter number of heading unless indicated otherwise. Paiute groups and Shoshone groups have each been combined. Following the example of Northwest Coast cataloging, regional groups and subgroups will be cited, when known, in the descriptive portion of the label, but not reflected in the Cutter line.)
